Digital Watercolour Art Print Set - Polar Bear, Inuksuk, Ulu

from $15.00
This hi, love. greetings art print set includes 3 prints that feature drawings inspired by my Labrador Inuit heritage. The polar bear, the inukshuk, and the ulu all feature heavily in the culture of Nunatsiavut.

The drawings are done in a simple black outline on digital watercolour. The three background colours, together, symbolize the colours of the Labrador flag.

The polar bear print: Polar bears are beautiful, strong animals I have adored since I was a child. The first time I ever saw a polar bear in the wild was an incredible moment for me, one I'll never forget. Drawing on an icy blue digital watercolour.

The inuksuk (inukshuk) print: The inukshuk is a strong symbol of Labrador Inuit in Nunatsiavut - in fact, it appears on the official flag of Nunatsiavut! Traditionally, an inuksuk was built for many reasons, including guiding hunters to good hunting grounds or as a warning of unsafe ice. Drawing on a pale, fresh green digital watercolour.

The ulu is a crescent shaped knife that was traditionally used by Inuit women to prepare animal skins. The ulu sometimes symbolizes Inuit women and their important role in Inuit culture. Drawing on a pale stone grey digital watercolour.

These prints can also be purchased individually:
